My name is Maxine Daubert and I am the Director at Gosford Cubbyhouse.
I am passionate about early education, having over 20 years’ experience working in a variety of positions within early childhood settings. My beliefs and passion support and align with Gosford Cubbyhouse’s vision and philosophy. I am grateful to be able to share my passion of play-based learning and support the families at Gosford Cubbyhouse.
With a shared belief of child guided and responsive, play-based learning, we strive to support the development of inspired and innovative problem solvers and promote responsible and collaborative explorers. I am an advocate for learning through active engagement as this encourages a child’s natural curiosity and desire to learn.
Gosford Cubbyhouse offers a strong connection to the outdoors through an interest-led, play-based curriculum. This enables deep learning, responsible citizenship, self-regulation and an authentic childhood that promotes resilience and openness to try new experiences.
I believe in the power of the community, supporting families and facilitating strong relationships with them both, embedding strong partnerships to facilitate holistic development.
